How to not have a first blog post ready before publishing your first blog post

I wish I had a smart, hilarious, brilliant first blog post in this space but…yeah. Not so much. But stay tuned—I promise I’ll be super witty and incredibly self-deprecating in the next few days, so come back soon. And if this post is still the only one here, feel free to berate me in the comments section (if the comments section works?) or via email. Or phone. Snail mail. Whatever. (No carrier pigeons for obvious reasons, please.) I'll deserve it.
